Balcony Herbs Garden

limited time & space is the most common excuses that we often heard when it come to gardening. Mostly for those who live in the city it is true that space is the biggest problems when it comes to gardening. Here some ideas that i can share which might be helpful for those who love gardening but don't have enough space and time. Below is my herbs garden which using recycle 1.5L mineral bottle as pot top hold those herbs. 

Im using air lift pump system to water my herbs. With that i dont have to water it manually everyday, I just need to make sure the water reservoir are always at the safe level. It is easy and the results is very rewarding. I live in small apartment which is on the third floor and have very small balcony but that is not the reason why i cant plant anything haha.

Dwarf Long Beans Project (Kacang Renek)

This project using recycled 1.5 L mineral recycled mineral bottle to plant Long beans plants. Air lift pump was use to pump water to each sets of bottles.

The project started on 25 November 2015. The picture below was taken on 2nd December 2015. The seeds already started to sprout.

The plants started to grow beautifully, the leaves looks really green and its already come out through the hole that was made at the side of the bottles searching for more sunlight.

Beans started to grow from the shoots

This bush provide nice protection against the direct heat and sunlight from the sun. Especially here in Malaysia the heat is burning.

Kacang renek yang berjuntaian dekat balkony tu mampu membuat sesiapa lalu dekat bawah terdetik untuk selfie hahaha.
